You cant keep it where you are moving? Or are you deciding to go the beach bum life? In that case you could prolly just sell the lude...

Moved out from there a bit ago so I might be a bit off, but you can always opt for University Inn rooming and they charge like $15 per quarter, of course the downside is the internet sucks and you'll need to bus to school if you want to save on parking. As far as parking goes, campus is the best you can really do; one option (which I don't fully recommend) is parking on the street at the base of campus beyond the 2hr zone.

Also, check out the Islander Motel if you're still looking for a place, and negotiate something with the manager there. I was paying close to $30 a night there (about $35 a night T-TR) for a single room (that's with shower, parking, electricity, fridge, cable, and furnishing) which is hella close to apartment rooms anyways. If you do monthly I'm sure he'll be willing to work on the price, it's right across the street from the U. Inn on Ocean if you're interested. (Just use your meal plans, if you have any, at the Inn and walk 2 mins back to your room). Just giving you other alternatives on top of parking.

I actually have housing all worked out, parking is my only loose end...so you don't recommend parking beyond the 2 hour zone? because of theft or because of a ticket?

(1) It's a public zone so theft, vandalism, accidents, etc are something you'll constantly be worrying over.
(2) There are laws that prohibit any one from leaving their car in a public spot for 72+ hrs at a time (someone may or may not call a tow on you).
(3) Some butt hole that lives around me keeps leaving his jalopy out in streets for days at a time so I know how pissed off the residents will probably be.

Your call though; after all, it is free parking :D
